A North Star concept is a designed vision of where your product or website could be in a few years. It gives everyone the same picture to work towards.
What it is
It's a set of concept designs showing the best version of your product, without today's constraints. It isn't a finished specification, and it isn't something we'd build next month. Think of it as a destination that makes the smaller decisions along the way easier.
When it helps
North Star concepts are useful when a team needs alignment or backing. If stakeholders have different ideas of where things are heading, a shared picture settles it faster than a slide deck. If you're asking for budget, showing people the ambition is more persuasive than describing it.
